“2:1” is an ongoing project that blurs the line between architectural and fine art photography. Each image, composed in a 2:1 aspect ratio, is defined by a minimal arrangement of planes. These photographic compositions flatten architectural forms into abstract fields of shape and surface. By stripping architecture of its scale and function, “2:1” invites the viewer to see space not as structure, but as surface.
